TDC Strengthens Manchester Presence with Move to 55 King Street

05 February 2026

Private credit investor TDC is to move into a new 3,379 sq. ft. office at 55 King Street, which it describes as part of its long-term commitment to Manchester.

Founded in the city over ten years ago, TDC has grown from a regional private credit fund focused on the lower mid-market to a UK and European investor alongside private equity.

The new office will provide an operational base for TDC to expand its UK network of private equity partners.

This deal marks the second letting on the newly completed third floor, building on the success of the fully let sixth‑floor smaller suites, and 10,690 sq. ft. fifth floor.  It follows the landmark building’s extensive refurbishment, which continues to attract high‑quality occupiers.

Commenting on the move, Gary Davison, Managing Partner at TDC, said: “Our move to 55 King Street provides us with the space and platform we need to continue growing as a business, while reaffirming our commitment to Manchester, the city where it all started for us. We’re proud to have grown a national platform supporting mid-market private equity all from this city, and now, as we expand further, our sights are firmly set on Europe to build our reach across the continent.”

Adam Jackson, Leasing Director at Orbit Developments added: “Partnering with Gary and the team to create a tailored workspace with high-quality interior finishes has been a pleasure.  Through collaborative engagement, the Ekho Studio design has been successfully implemented resulting in a truly amazing workspace.”

Andrew Cowell, Transactions & Asset Management: “We are delighted to have advised TDC on their relocation to 55 King Street. The move provides them with a high-quality workspace that strongly supports their continued growth in Manchester. Orbit’s comprehensive remodelling of the building has truly transformed the space, and securing TDC as an occupier is a great endorsement of the quality of the refurbishment that has been delivered.”
